About Me

I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 7 years of experience building Java backend systems across FinTech and AdTech — domains where correctness, performance, and reliability aren't negotiable.

My core stack is Java 17 and Spring Boot: micro-services and REST APIs, Spring Batch pipelines moving high volumes of data, Spring Security for auth and multi-tenancy, and Hibernate over PostgreSQL and Sybase. A lot of my best work has been performance work — finding the bottleneck nobody had profiled and cutting a critical pipeline from 60 minutes to 15, or parallelising a serial import with an ExecutorService so it handles 10,000 records in one pass.

That work has taken me from core trading and reporting systems at a global investment bank, to analytics dashboards for a Fortune 500 payment card provider, to high-volume campaign pipelines at Mediaocean — where I own features end-to-end on the Prisma advertising platform, serving clients like Disney. I care as much about the architecture as the implementation: I've authored HLD and LLD for platforms pitched to clients, and I own delivery from requirement analysis through to production.

I'm comfortable across the stack — React and TypeScript, including a Single-SPA micro-frontend — but backend is where I go deep. Outside of work I build open-source tools, mentor developers and review their code, run internal tech sessions, and stay sharp on Google Cloud Platform (certified Professional Cloud Developer, 2025).
